Research
The Service and Central Laboratory of Haematology of the University Hospital Center and the University of Lausanne conduct its research under the guidance of 3 faculty investigators, employing a scientific staff of 13 scientists including postdoctoral fellows graduate students and technicians.
The studies seek to understand life processes in the area of haematology that, when disturbed, lead to disorders. They focus within 4 fields of investigation:
- Haematopoiesis
- Haematological malignancies and transplantation
- Haemostasis and thrombosis
- Response to inflammation.
